Show Page HILL TOP TIMES 14 April 29. 1977 m 81 Beginning May 2, the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is adding more busses to service Hill Air Force Base. Traffic counts indicate that three per cent of the base labor force is currently using the service. The number of users is expected to increase as the national energy shortage becomes more critical. Flexibility remains for the addition of still more busses as requirements increase. UTA has set up bus schedules allowing adequate time for collecting and unloading passengers. Drivers have been instructed to remain at designated stops for the duration of scheduled stopping periods. Busses are currently operating from Salt Lake City via Bountiful and Kaysville to Hill AFB. Persons desiring additional information about bus routes and time schedules should consult maps and pick up schedules on the bulletin board at their Directorate Headquarters. UTA has provided a generous supply of these schedules. Because of an over- - n n ICRS) U number of whelming telephone inquiries, UTA has requested 'that " people first Consult the printed schedules. Due to the numerous changes in the schedules and availability of them from UTA, they will not be published in Hill Top Times. The main route on base runs along 2nd Street and South Gate Drive, with sup plemental services stopping at the hospital, commissary and, building 1102. The' map 'shown below shows the main route on base, with stops designated by the number of the building near the stop. Civil Engineering Division has erected signs provided by UTA at all designated bus stops. Busses will stop only at designated areas marked by the appropriate signs.
