Mrs. Alice Bliss has returned home. She flew by plane to Los Angeles area and saw her daughters, daugh-ters, Maxine and Helen and families. fam-ilies. Mrs Alta Warnick was hostess to the Literary Club, Wednesday, Oct. 19th. Mrs. Becky Schena gave a review of the book, "Mr. Clemens and Mark Twain" which gave quite an astounding slant of the life of Mark Twain. Those who attended were: Mrs. Dana Bishop, Mrs. Erma Cropper, Mrs.. Angie Cahoon, Mrs LaFay Corey, Mrs. Golda Talbot Mrs. Becky Schena, Mrs. Ruth Talbot, Mrs. Clara Stewart, Mrs. Sharon Western, Mrs. Betty Jane Morris. Those who went to the Manti Temple Wednesdey on Stake Temple Tem-ple day from Hinckley were: Angie Cahoon, Mrs. Clara Stewart Mrs. Fern Hepworth, Carl and LaVerne Theobald. Ron and Rose Shumway spent from Friday until Monday in Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Arizona. Mrs. LaFay Corey spent last week in Las Vegas with her daughter, Margo and family. Ronald and Shirley Morris were in Hinckley for a visit with parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris and other relatives. UTAH POWER & LIGHT CO, The Carl Dutsons went out to Antelope for some camping and hunting. They went out on Friday and returned home Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. John Ashurst and son Kevin, of Logan came down for the deer hunt and are at the Lee Judd home. On Sunday, Suzanne, Shirleen and Sharilynn went to Fillmore and visited at the A. C. Ashurst and Jeddie Judd homes. Tim Crafts, son of Ralph and Blanche Crafts, was home from Provo where he attends the Trade Tech, over the weekend. Marcia Talbot went to Salt Lake Friday by train to stay with her sister Shirley Evans and family. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Skeem and family of Draper were down for the deer hunt. They spent some time in Deseret and Hinckley with parents. The Lynn Talbots have had all their children home this week: Linda Lue Searle and son Clay had been visiting for several days. Mich ael and Steven came in from Las Vegas to go deer hunting. They all returned to their homes on Sunday. Marilyn and Phil Bennett and family came down for the deer hunt. Phil went hunting over to Meadow with his brothers and dad. Marilyn and children staved with Natalie Eennett until Sunday and then went over to Meadow. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Moody and boys were down from Salt Lake to visit and hunt. Connie stayed in Delta with relatives while the fellows went hunting. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Meacham. Harriet and Blaine Spendlove and Elaine came down from Kays-vile Kays-vile on Friday. Blaine and Harriet went hunting out to Antelope with the Cluff Talbots and the Jim Peter sens. Elaine slaved with Dottie Damron while her parents went hunting. Thoy returned home Sunday Sun-day evening. Thoy report no luck on the hunt. I.yla Rfe and Larry Morris went deer hunting over the weekend. The Hon Croppers, Gaylen Croppers Crop-pers were with other deer hunters on the weekend; they went out to Antlope. Mrs. Zola Bunker has left Hinckley Hinck-ley and Delta to go to Idaho to stay with her daughter, Julene and family. After spending a week at the Cluff Talbots, newly-weds Carl and Linda Talbot returned home to California on the weekend. Mrs. Enid Damron was up from Cedar for a few days this week. Attending Sunday School in Hinckley Hin-ckley Sunday were Stake Missionaries Mission-aries Dr. M. A. Lyman and Buchanan. Buch-anan. Mr. and Mrs. Boone Colgrove of Murray spent Saturday at the Ken Meacham home. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dennison have been visited by by several of their children this past weekend. Mrs. Theo Ellis and children of Salt Lake Dallin and wife and Harold and wife of Salt L)ke also. They came Sunday. Theo had been here for about a week. Their daughter, Jane and husband Dick Huntsman came from Alaska on Friday. While this much of their family was together they celebrated their mother's birthday bir-thday with her. Vilate, another daughter is here helping her mother who is recuperating from a back operation. She will remain here for sometime. L. R. and Arvilla Swenson went to Sterling last wor!;. Ho i-o"' ni for some deer hunting and Arvilla remained in Sterling to visit. Mrs. Clare Spencer Alldredge is .at the home of her parents, the Doug Spencers. She will remain here for a time while her husband is being transferred. Dana Pratt of St. George was up to join in the deer hunting. All the School children and Primary Pri-mary children of Hinckley wil enjoy Halloween fun festivities next Monday Mon-day with a parade down main street at 2 p.m. and then will go to the Gymnasium for a party. The Hinckley MIA held a Halloween Hallo-ween party Tuesday evening at the big gym. Booths were made by each class, featuring games, etc. Refreshments of doughnuts and punch were served and dancing was enjoyed by the group. . Lars Bishop of Payson was in Hinckley for the weekend at his parents and also went deer hunting. There hasn't been much luck among most of the hunters this year, at least those I have heard about. Mr. and Mrs, Willard Hardy were down from Spanish Fork for a couple of days. Clyde Wood came to Hinckley to see his daughter Beryl Hardy and family. The Hardys returned to Salt Lake with Clyde where Beryls mother is recuperating from an operation, to see her. Karl and Arvilla Workman are spending the present few days out a camping trip.
