Ruth was born January 12, 1922 in Sutherland, Utah to Qgorge R. and Rhoda Jackson Jack-son and graduated from Delta High School and Sem-ry. Sem-ry. She attended Brigham Young University and during World War II fforked at the Ogden Arsenal. Arse-nal. While living in Ogden, she met her future husband. hus-band. She married Robert Anderson on April 24, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple- They settled in Ogden, Utah where they lived 56 years, then moved to American Fork, Utah in 2002. Ruth worked at Weber State University as the secretary to the Nursing Nurs-ing Department for 29 years, retiring in 1984. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Primary, Pri-mary, Relief Society, and Young Women's Organizations. Organiza-tions. The loves of Ruth's life were her children and grandchildren; to have her great-grandchildren visit Letha Walker Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, 88, of American Ameri-can Fork, left this mortal existence on July 7, 2003 and returned to the arms of her eternal companion. Letha was born October 25, 1914 in Lindon, Utah to Leonard S. and Edith Stagg Walker, the oldest of 15 children. chil-dren. She married her sweetheart, sweet-heart, Joseph B. Hanson on December 23, 1933 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Joe passed away in 2002. Letha grew up on the family farm in Lindon. She attended school in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. She was a school 'unch. worker and manager for 25 years in the American Ameri-can Fork schools. She was a devoted member of the LDS urch and enjoyed her working in the Provo Temple. She was active in the and was a member of to Literary League. She was a verv lmHn caring person who devoted her time to her family and friends. Ruth is survived by her husband of American Fork, her two children: R. Brent (Camille) Anderson, Highland, High-land, UT and Janet (Morgan) (Mor-gan) Parry, Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and brother Lloyd Jackson, Moses Lake, WA. Ruth was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Maeve McNeal, brothers: Bernard and Russell Jackson Jack-son and sisters: Laverna Jackson, Lucy Egan, Delia Johnson, Maxene Owens, and Shirley Austin. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Satur-day, July 12th at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 7th Ward Chapel 700 West 500 North. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary Mortu-ary 49 East 100 North American Fork and Saturday Satur-day from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burdene Shores, Edith Jean Harris, Boyd Walker, Royce Walker, and Judy Pyne. She was preceded preced-ed in death by her son JoeArd and siblings: Harold Walker, Ray Walker, Hen-son Hen-son Walker, Madge Tucker, and Joyce Nielsen. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 32nd Ward Chapel, 270 North 900 East, American Ameri-can Fork. She was born Jan. 14, 1972, to Ronald Jay and Ursula Kramer Nelson in Murray, Utah. She marrried Max V. Harding on May 27, 1989. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Melissa was a loving wife and mother and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served faithfully faithful-ly in many callings. She found her greatest joy in serving her family and others. oth-ers. De Marco was born on November 22, 1983 and was a true friend and brought happiness to everyone he knew. He had a contagious smile, his attitude always positive and encouraging. He was charismatic, fun loving, generous, full of life, energy, and mischief. Fitting-in everywhere he went. He was blessed with many talents, a natural leader and athlete. People wanted to be with Kolby. Home runs, 300 yard drives, catching the biggest air, Faster, Farther, Higher, that was Kolby. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School where he completed a CNA Program, and attended Westridge Academy. Acade-my. He worked for the US Anti-doping Agency drug testing athletes. So many loved him and have a "Kolby" story. We were blessed to have him. Kolby knew Jesus and is with Him peacefully in His loving arms. Kolby went to be with Jesus on July 1st after a tragic auto accident. Born January Janu-ary 28, iycJ8 in Salt Lake City to Elvernon and Eloise Coult Ferguson. Graduated from American Fork High in 1956 and worked for UP&L retiring after 32 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Sherrie Boothe in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in numerous capacities. He also served a stake mission and as a temple worker. The love of his life was Roberta Adamson Our loving mother and grandmother Roberta Cook Adamson, 91, of Lehi, died July 6, 2003 in Utah Valley Val-ley Regional Region-al Medical Center, due to compli-cations compli-cations from a fall. Roberta was born April 22, 1912, in Cedar Fort, Utah. She was the sixth often children chil-dren born to Edward and Nellie Chamberlain Cook. Roberta was an active member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended school in Cedar Fort and Lehi, Utah. After graduating from Lehi High School, she moved to Salt Lake City where she worked for Z.C.M.I. and the Doctor Elliot Snow Family. Roberta married her sweetheart, Lee Adamson, on Sept. 23, 1939 in Salt Lake City. Three children blessed their union. They were later sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Each grandchild was so special, and he loved and spoiled them every chance he had. He will be missed so very much by many. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; his daughter, Debra Hawks, of American Fork; his sons, Jim (Lezlie), of Post Falls, Idaho, and Scott (Cheryl), of Cedar Hills; 16 grandchildren; a sister, Althea Richins, of Henefer; and a brother, Elvernon (Ora Mae) Ferguson, Fergu-son, Jr., of St. George. Roberta will be remembered remem-bered for her love of children, chil-dren, her friendship, her caring, her cooking, her green thumb, and her love for the Democratic Party. Roberta lived her long and happy life well and on her own terms. Surviving Roberta are her three children: Joseph (Penny) Adamson, Carla (Richard) Shelton, both of Lehi and Robert-Toby (Ann) Adamson of Highland, a brother Francis (Donna) Cook, Cedar Fort; sisters-in-law Virginia of Cedar Fort and Denise Cook of Highland, High-land, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2003 in the Lehi 7th Ward, 1149 N 300 W, Lehi, at 11:00 A.M. A viewing well be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
