She enjoyed working ;ith Student Body President Brian Hill. He was very supportive to the PTSA. Back to School night was well attended and featured Geret Giles, a psychologist, and Robert Hunt, and a young blind man who spoke about goals. Alison was very concerned about dress standards stan-dards and last fall an assembly was held with a panel featuring a fashion show and a former Miss Utah. The PTSA helped get prizes for the Hello Dance and Kathy Terry created the PTSA Web site for the school, the first in the state. Alison was instrumental in bringing the parent meetings, "Straight Talk for Teens," and "Music Awareness," to the schools. She found it difficult to serve on the Boundary Committee and felt committee commit-tee members had little impact on decisions. The school participated in Harman's Day where students stu-dents and PTSA helped with passing out samples and bagging groceries to help earn money for the Scholarship Fund. She was available to help out at school events and liked the Prom at the high school this year. The kids loved it, it fill mm Photo by Kalyn Secretan Karen Acerson will serve as next year's PTSA president.
