She left this earth after a short illness and a lifetime life-time of giv ing and receiving much love. She was born on September 21, 1910, in Ogden, Utah to Wilhelm and Elizabeth Keseling. She was raised and educated in Ogden. She married mar-ried Malcolm John Crawford on May 27, 1931, in the Logan Temple. During their 59 years together they lived a life of adventure in Logan, St. Louis, Idaho, California, Washington, Turkey and Indonesia, retiring to Pleasant Grove until his death in 1990. They are the parents par-ents of one daughter and three sons, and a large posterity of grandchildren. She married Victor Forsyth on June 26, 1996, and they have resided in Mona, Utah, where they enjoyed building a home, traveling and watching the sunsets sun-sets together. She became close to the Forsyth family and has enjoyed their love also. Jack A. Wagstaff mui,.IUM.,,iiV.iiv - V; Jack Adrian Wagstaff, age 51, of American Fork, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home February 20, 2000 after an extended illness. ill-ness. Jack was born September 15, 1948 in American Fork, to Roy A. and Catherine Vandeburgh Wagstaff. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy A. Wagstaff, but survived sur-vived by his loving wife Brenda DarAico of seven'years, and his' mother, Catherine Chapman, and two sons by previous marriages, mar-riages, Matthew Q. Jackson and Justin Michael Hodges. Also four brothers have survived him: Gary and Shanna of American Fork, David M. of Moab, R. Bruce and Debi of Richfield, and Richard "Rick" of Delta. . Jack was educated in American Fork and proved to be active in drama and music. He grew up on the family farm where he learned hard work and industry. He was active in Scouting and awarded the Order of the Arrow. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he received considerable technical training and knowledge. While in the navy he was "drafted" into the Marines that were gearing up for the Tet Offensive in Viet Nam. Jack fought in various battles bat-tles and received the Purple Heart twice. He was discharged honorably in 1971. Jack worked all over the western states and on the North Slope in Alaska doing geophysical geophysi-cal work for Texas Instruments. He later worked as a planner for a building contractor in California. He became proficient as a manager in business, including his own, Nick's Tires i and Service in Orem and American Fork. '"' 1 ' One of Jack's great' pleasures was to go hunting with his brothers. There was always a close bond between them all. Jack had integrity and an honest work ethic that set him apart in life. He was active in his L.D.S. Ward in American Fork when he died and he will be greatly missed by friends and loved ones. Funeral services were held in American Fork Hillcrest Fourth Ward on Friday, February 25 under the direction of Bishop John Heiner. Burial was in the American Fork Cemetery. Services under the direction of Berg Mortuary. Military rites by the VFW District 4. Elaine Loader Hunsaker Aguirre Feb. 1990. She married Joseph M. Aguirre June 12, 1993. She left this earth surrounded by her family after a courageous coura-geous battle with cancer. . She was born on November 30, 1927, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Nathaniel and Loretta Slater Loader. The night of her birth her farther left the porch light on for his only daughter, "the star of Bethlehem." She had 5 brothers. She was educated in Pleasant Grove. Elaine was Strawberry Queen in 1947. She married Max A. Hunsaker on Sept 18, 1947 in the Logan Temple. She was a talented, wonderful homemak-er homemak-er and made everyone feel welcome wel-come in her special home. She was a devoted mother and always made sure that her children knew they where loved. Elaine was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served the church in every auxiliary. aux-iliary. She was dedicated to genealogy work and continued to do research till the very end. She was the source of spiritual strength for the family. She and Max are the parents of two daughters, one son, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. They divorced in ful yard, which was their "Garden of Eden." Elaine enjoyed learning and took many courses in a variety of subjects. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the splendor of the world and meeting meet-ing people form different countries. coun-tries. She was gregarious and outgoing, making friends wherever wher-ever she went. She is survived by her spouse and sweetheart Joseph M. Aguirre; two daughters: Tamara (Steven) Nelson, Murray; Rachele (Mark) Walker, Brigham City; one son: Allen (Diane) Hunsaker, Henderson, NV; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include her stepchildren stepchil-dren Dennis (Pamela Jo) Aguirre, MD; Robin (Linnia) Aguirre; (Paul) Jolene Feller, DDS; David (Mary) Aguirre; 22 step-grandchildren, 20 step-great step-great grandchildren. Brothers: Dale (Sadie) Loader, American Fork; Ben (Billie) Loader, Provo; Grant (Carol) Loader, Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 29th at the American Fork Eighth Ward Chapel, Interment was in American Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Ilsa Kramer Arnold She was a fine seamstress and enjoyed making quilts and hand crafting many beautiful items. She also enjoyed compiling compil-ing family histories. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the Church in many capacities. She especially enjoyed working with children in the Jr. Sunday School, the youth in MIA and in Relief Society. She is survived by her spouse, three sons: Malcolm Darrell Crawford (Sanda), Salem; Lynn Dean Crawford (Barbara), Irvine, CA: Ted Charles Crawford (Gena), Boise, ID; son-in-law, Darwin Goodey, Ellensburg, WA; a brother, William Keseling, Ogden; 19 grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren. Additional survivors include her step-children: Clarke (Janis) Forsyth, Cedar Fort; Craig (Sheila) Forsyth, Alpine; Rosemary (Thad) Adams, Orem; Rees (Debbie) Forsyth, Helper. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Marilyn Goodey, and two sisters, Elizabeth Hart and Irene Hartwell. Funeral services were held Monday, February 28, 2000 at in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Interment was in the Logan City Cemetery. ; ." Ilsa Kramer Arnold, much loved daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend, passed from this earth peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 4:40 a.m. She was 86 years young. She was born May 1, 1912, to Emil and Anna Ida Kramer in Buchholz, Saxony, East Germany. She lived through many difficulties in Germany the Hitler Era, World War II, much devastation devasta-tion and poverty. She immigrated to America in the 1950's and made her first home in Salt Lake City. She worked in the LDS Church Offices in the translation and membership departments. She later moved to Los Angeles, Calif, with her husband and daughter, Ilsa. There she had her second child, a son, David. She loved America with its many freedoms and so much abundance. She was so proud of Norma Gordon Bateman Norman Gordon Bateman, 78, of American Fork, a beautiful beauti-ful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at her home surrounded sur-rounded by her family. She was born Nov. 16, lyzj., in American Fork, the sixth child of George Hudson and Jane Hunter Gordon. She married the love of her life, Dean M. Bateman, on March 13, 1942. The marriage was later solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They became the proud parents, of two children, Barry Dean Bateman and Jan Bateman-Waters. Norma lived her entire life in American Fork. She attended attend-ed American Fork elementary, schools and graduated from American Fork High School in 1940, after which she graduated graduat-ed from the Stevens-Henegar Business College in 1941. Her first job was stenographer stenogra-pher and bookkeeper at the Chipman Mercantile Company. She later worked at the Utah Poultry Association when Dean was overseas in the U.S. Air Force. In 1983 she retired as American Fork City Treasurer, a post she had held for 34 years. Norma spent her life giving of herself to her family and friends, whom she loved very much. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bridge, golfing, golf-ing, bowling, camping and other activities, and more than anything, being home with her husband, children and grandchildren. grand-children. With Dean, she was a founding found-ing member of the Alpine Country Club, where she won many golf trophies over the years. In 1992, at the age of 71, she made a hole-in-one, a thrill for her, her family and golfing partners. Norma is survived by her loving husband, Dean; son, Barry, and his wife, Gina; and daughters Kara, Soorya and Darlene; as well as by her daughter, Jan, and her husband, hus-band, Mark, and their two sons, Cameron and Ian. She is also' survived : by her brothers: Howard, Dean and Art Gordon; sisters-in-law, Elaine, Edith and Mary Gordon; brother and sisters-in-law, Louise Bateman, Maurie and Arlene Bateman, Gwen and George Kotsiopulos and Leo and Cleone Turner. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, at the American Fork 13th Ward Chapel, 975 N. 60 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary on Thursday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at 10 a.m. at the chapel prior to the funeral services. Burial will take place in the American Fork City Cemetery. Olive Larson Olive Ruth Allen Larson, age 83 of Lehi, formerly of Orem, Utah, died Feb. 26, 2000 at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital of natural causes. She was born Jan. 30, 1917 in Pinedale, Wyoming, daughter of Samuel Donald and Greta Hembree Allen. She married Max T. Larson in 1955. He died March 12, 1993. During her earlier years, Olive had worked at Hill Air Force Base, Salt Lake Hardware Co. and for 15 years with the I.R.S. She owned and operated Ace Lunch and The Milk Depot in Lehi for many years. For the past nine years she has been in customer service ser-vice for NuSkin, International Co. where she was the oldest employee and was very well known and recognized by her many friends there. She loved reading, cross-stitch, and enjoyed her grandchildren and loved animals. " Survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Rodger) Benge, Las Vegas, Nevada; 5 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Wendy (Jerry) Zimmerman, Eagle Mt; Jerry (Michelle) Griffis, Jr., Lehi; Scott Griffis and Arley Sheldon, both of Salt Lake City; Together again Marty (Tina) Griffis, Murray; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Leona May Allen, 85, of Bassett, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband hus-band and daughter, Karalynn Kay Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Canyon View 8th Ward LDS Chapel, 575 E. 800 No., Orem. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at he church in Orem, Thursday one hour prior to services. There were just not enough hours in a day for her. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Helen; her husband, Herb Arnold (married in St. George Utah Temple. She is survived by a daughter, daugh-ter, Ilsa DuBois, American Fork; a son, David Arnold, Green River, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren; grand-children; nine great-grandchildren.
