Johnson, teacher of History and English at American Amer-ican Fork Junior High School, has been notified of his appointment appoint-ment as a participant in the San-ford San-ford University Seminar to be held in June at the Valley Forge Freedoms Foundation. Mr. Johnson has taught at American Fork Junior High School for 16 years, where he has been a leader in developing de- velonmental activities and pro jects featuring Americanism. He is a previous recipient of the Freedom Foundations Teacher's Medal, winning this high honor in 1967. In promoting a vigorous Amer icanism Droeram. He has also been instrumental in-strumental in establishing better understanding of the judicial system, sys-tem, taking students to visit the Utah State Supreme Court ana other judicial rooms. Sanford University, Burning-ham, Burning-ham, Alabama will be the host school for the seminar and will sponsor Mr. Johnson as a par ticipant. Proctor, 25, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darren Proctor, and wife. Kathleen 'ive in Am. Fork, completed a helicopter pilot course at tne Army Ar-my Primary Helicopter School, Ft. Wolters, Tex. Durine the 16-week course, he was trained to fly Army helicopters heli-copters and learned to use them in tactical maneuvers. He next will undergo advanced flight training at the Army Avia tion School, Ft. Ruker, Ala. Upon completion of advanced training, he may be appointed a warrant officer. WOC Proctor entered the Ar-mv Ar-mv in June 1969 and completed basic training at Ft. Polk, La. He was graduated in 1962from American Fork High School.
