The awards ceremony cere-mony is planned for May 2 at 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. Robins Awards are held annually an-nually by the Associated Women Students and Sigma Nu to honor the outstanding man, woman, personality per-sonality international student, stu-dent, achievement, professor, athlete, scholar, talent and alumnus alum-nus of the year. Students competing for Achievement of the Year include: Karen Eggett, American Fork, Is vice president of the Junior Class. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, scholastic honorary; honor-ary; Phi Kappa Phi, scholastic honorary; Mortar Board, senior women's honorary; and Angel Flight, Air Force auxiliary organization. or-ganization. She is Area H-l's Air Force ROTC Little Colonel and Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. A'copella Performs At Region Festival The American Fork High School Acapella choir participated participat-ed in the Region Four Choral Festival held last Friday at the Orem High School. Under the direction of Charles R. Fadely, the choir sang, "He Watching Over Israel," "Ballad of Brotherhood," "Sing We and Chant It," and "Last Words of David." She will welcome family members mem-bers and friends onSunday, May 3, at her home, 264 East 300 North, American Fork, from 4 to 6 p.m. Mrs. Chadwick was born in American Fork on May 4, 1877. Her parents were Mary Elizabeth and James Spratley. She is the widow of William James Chadwick, who died in 1957. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1951. Mrs. Chadwick is the mother of 10 c h i 1 d r e n, eight of whom are living. They are: Dr. James S. Chadwick, Fay S. Chadwick and Earl S. Chadwick, all of American Amer-ican Fork; Raymonds. Chadwick, Pgden; Roy S. Chadwick, Mrs. George G. (Leah) Wood, Mrs. Edythe Smith, and Mrs. E. Clark (Ruth) Bird, all of Salt Lake City. She also has 21 grandchildren grandchild-ren and 40 great grandchildren. Mrs. Chadwick still resides in the home she and her husband built prior to their marriage. She enjoys reading, sewing and cooking. She loves doing special things for others. She has enjoyed a long life of service to her family, community and church. She maTitains her house and entertains family members with her delicious cooking. She enjoys young people and keeps herself current on what they are doing in church, school and employment. The students, along with their adviser, Carl Ingersoll, started out by touring the nursery. Mrs. Harriet Mulliner guided them through the hospital and other buildings and showed them the most Interesting and useful parts. Mr. Ingersoll stated, "It was absolutely fantastic. It made me come home and hug my kids and be so thankful that they are perfectly per-fectly normal.
