Her fiance graduated from the Springville High School and four year Seminary course. He enlisted en-listed in the U.S. Navy in October, Oc-tober, 1966, and is now stationed in San Diego, Calif. He is presently pre-sently serving aboard the destroyer, de-stroyer, "Coontz." They will make their home in San Diego. He attended BYU and is presently pre-sently employed with the U.S. Forest Servire. Following their marriage the young couple will make their home in Pleasant Grove. Bridbttas Win Honors in All Horse Panda in Silt Lake City Last Friday The Bridlettes won second place honors in the All Horse Parade held in connection with the Days of '47 celebration in Salt Lake City last Friday. Approximately 20 ridin,. clubs of the area participated in the parade, the largest all horse parade par-ade in the United States. The Bridlettes won the second place award in" B" Class, bringing bring-ing home a nice trophy and a cash award. Among dignitaries participating participat-ing in the All Horse Parada was Governor Calvin L. The riding club Is now preparing prepar-ing for the District 10 Riding Club meet, which will be held in August. They are meeting for drills twice weekly through the summer. President Pres-ident Bowring officiated at the ceremony, which was attendedby family and friends. The lovely bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. AlwardL. Christensen, Chris-tensen, of Yucaipa, California, and the groom is the foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Chip-man, Chip-man, of American Fork. The wedding party was feted at a wedding breakfast immediately immed-iately following the ceremony, hosted by Mrs. Chipman. The newlyweds were honored that same evening at a beautifully beautiful-ly appointed reception at the Yucaipa Yu-caipa Ward Chapel, which was hosted by the parents of the bride. Little Kristen Marie arrived June S at Roncocas Valley Hospital, Hos-pital, Willingborough.N. J. weighing six pounds, 11 ounces. She measured 19 and one half inces long and has lots of dark hair and pretty dark eyes. The adorable little girl is currently cur-rently getting acquainted with Utah grandparents, as she and her mother enjoy a visit with Glen and Maurine for two to three weeks. Her arrival is creating quite a stir, since she is also the first great grand child for Jesse and Delia Spafford and the first grat great granddaughter of Mrs. Rose B. Hanson, all of American Fork.
