Hunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Hunt is a member of the Air Force Systems Command's Eastern Test Range, headquartered at Patrick AFB, Florida, that is supporting the Apollo n land ing mission. Major Hunt, a pilot, feeds vi tal information to test range headquarters as the Apollo circles cir-cles the globe. When necessary he deploys to any space track ing site in the area to keep a constant contact with the com mand capsule as it passes over his area. The major, a graduate of Ba ker High School, received his B.S. Degree in 1956 from Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University at Provo. He was commissioned there up on completion of the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corpsj program. He haj completed a tour of duty in Vietnam. The battalion recently returned to its homeport of Port Hue-neme, Hue-neme, California, after serving its fourth deployment to Vietnam. Donations of clothing, building materials and scholarship funds were distributed to ntedy Vietnamese Viet-namese families and students through the Civic Action Program which the battalion was active in.
