Gareth and Barbara Ca-dell Ca-dell Wootton made the announcement announce-ment after the arrival of a son on Tuesday, July 1, in Calif. The Woottons are residents of Beverly Hills. The first born of the couple will be named Anthony Gareth Wootton and weighed seven pounds, 13 oz. on arrival. Both Gareth and Barbara graduated grad-uated from the George Washington Washing-ton Medical School. Gareth has finished his Surgical training and is specializing in Plastic Surgery Sur-gery at the U.C.L.A. University Hospital. Barbara is a Radiologist Radiolo-gist on the staff of the U.C.L.A. Hospital and teaches at the U.C. L.A. Medical SchooL Sharing grandparent honors with the Woottons of American Fork are Herbert and Mildred Cadell of New York City, New York. David Parduhn from Cardinals: Tim Nelson, Brad Christensen, Clinton Conder and Ted Lewis from Dodgers: Cole Christiansen, Christian-sen, Craig Durrant, Don Olroyd and Bruce Wagstaff from Giants. Two alternates were named: Randall Ran-dall DeNumbrum and James Bair. Cole Christiansen was presented pre-sented a $5.00 check for selling sell-ing the most breakfast tickets in the National League. Baseballs were presented to all 12 year old players who are leaving the league this year and they are as follows: Biaves-Clay Adams, Reid Mitchell, Kevin Carlson, James Bair and Rocky Hansen. Winning the girls bicycle was six year old Brook Ann Robinson, Rob-inson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Robinson and Robert Winters, Win-ters, 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne S. Winters, was awarded the boys bicycle. The drawing was held at the big Pet and Hobby Show Friday Fri-day afternoon, with the Steel Days Royalty on hand to draw the winning numbers. Children of the community were delighted with FLeman Frank and Smokey the Bear, who greeted each participating youngster and were on hand for the festivities. "The right hour course," Leo H. Barlow, the Council Vice President, stated, "covers the preventability of motor vehicle accidents, the principles of Defensive De-fensive driving, preventing runoff run-off roadway accidents and driving the freeways. The course, he pointed out, is offered in four two hour sessions, ses-sions, a week apart. In addition to lectures, visual aids and films and animals of every description and some unusual hobbies were entered by youngsters in the annual event.
