Walker Klea L. Smith Bryce R. Webb Graveside services were held in the Lehi City Cemetery for Bryce R. Webb, infant son of Donald Ed and Sandee Wilkin Webb. The baby was born and died July 30 at Utah Valley Hospital. Survivors include parents, one brother, Blake Donald; grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs Edwin D. Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilkin; great grandparents, Mr. Donald Webb and Mrs. Rose Wilkin, all of Lehi; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heath, Salem. Maggie Orr Beck MAGGIE ORR BECK Maggie Orr Beck, 90, American Fork, died Friday, Aug. 5, 1983, in Orem, Utah. She was born Oct 10, 1892, in Avon, Cache County, Utah to James C. and Maggie Ann Ferrell Orr. She married Stephen F. Beck Dec 20, 1911, in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 22, 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was active in church organizations and worked in most church auxiliaries. She was a member of the Bee Orchis Club and was the oldest of 13 children. She is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Roma Pearson, American Fork; Mrs. Vivian Munson, Kaysville, Utah; Theron Beck, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Maybelle Mills, and Dallon Beck, Pleasant Grove; Duane Beck, Bountiful, Utah; Arlen Beck Roehwill, Georgia; Vaughn Beck of Sulfur, Louisianna; 50 grandchildren; grand-children; 73 great grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, Ivan Orr, Granger, Utah; Mrs. Buelah Hansen, California; Mrs. Lucille Hancock, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. Leona Stanley, Heber City, Utah. Three of her brothers and sisters preceded her in death: Feryl Maurine Beck, Ray Lee Beck and Cora Loraine Beck Adamson. Services held Monday were under the direction of Eric Adamson. Casket- bearers were sons James, Dallon, Duane, Theron, Malcolm, Arlen and Vaughn Beck. The family prayer was given by Dalian Beck. The prelude and postlude were played by Lorraine Fackrell, granddaughter. The invocation was offered by Ivan Orr, a brother, and the life sketch was given by Bill Munson, son-in-law. A tribute by grandaughter Becky Chris tenson was given. A musical number was performed by Lorraine Fackrell. Speakers were James Beck and Malcolm Beck, sons. A musical number was given by Carol Newman and Marilynn Pence, granddaughters, and the benediction was given by Duane Beck, son. The dedication of the grave in the American Fork City Cemetery was by Theron Beck, son. MEKI.K YVAI.KKIt Merle Christiansen Walker, 79, of American Fork died August 9, 198.1 in Uhi. She was bom May 19, 1904 in Pleasant Grove a daughter of Niels Peter and Matilda Stagg Christi ansen. She married Ionard S. Walker, June 12, 1964 in the Salt I.ake LDS Temple. He died Jan. 23, 1983. She was a member of the 1J)S Church having served in many capacities, including a mission to the Northern States. She was an avid genealogist. genealo-gist. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove. She graduate from BYU and also attended Utah State University and taught school in Trxxile, Nevada and the? Alpine School District n-tiring in 1970. Survivors include five brothers and a sister Mrs. Reed (Betty) Matthews, American Fork; Ned Christiansen, Christian-sen, Ijehi; lienard Christiansen, Robert Christiansen and Don Christiansen, all of Ely, Nevada; Francis Christiansen, Wend-over, Wend-over, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, .r(K) South at ;X) East, Pleasant Grove where friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. or Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Klea k Smith Spencer, 84, Moved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Aug. 6, 1983, of a heart attack. She was Ixirn Feb. 2i, 1899, to James Hanks and Ijelia Gertrude Openshaw Smith in Alpine, Utah. She was educated in Alpine and American Fork schools and the LDS Business College in Salt lake City. She married Roderick W. Spencer, Dec. 4, 192(), in Diamondville, Wyo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died Nov. 11, 1974. She was active in the American Fork 18th Ward, and American Pork Utah Stake and was president of the Gospel Doctrine Class. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Gwen Crippen, lake Oswego, Ore.; Mrs. Duke (LuWraye) Schillereff, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. John (Ann) Powers, Salt lake City; Robert Wally Spencer, Orange -vale, Calif; Mrs. Garn (Peggy) Baum, I'rovo; Jack R. Spencer, and Mrs. Dwain (Roberta) Morris, both of American Fork; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers. Max Smith, American Fork; and Jack Smith, Centerville, Utah; and two sisters, Mrs. Fae Carlson, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. La Drew (Elva) Varney, American Ameri-can Fork. Funeral Services were held in the American Fork 18th IJJS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Alpine City Cemetery. Winston H. Gillies coupon WINSTON H. GILLIES LINDON - Winston H. Gillies, 66, of Iindon died August 8, 1983 in American Fork. He was bom Dec. 4, 1916 in Vineyard, Utah County a son of Joseph Smith and Cora Nell Williams Gillies. He married Donna Richins on August 1, 1936 in Vineyard. The marriage was later widow, lindon; two sons and a daughter: Darrell W. Gillies, Iindon; Lynn Joseph Gillies, Fairfield; Mrs. Leonard (Margene) Tantee, Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; 6 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Howard Gillies, Kearns; Don Gillies, Lindon; Mrs. Helen Bergfelder, Orem; Mrs. Michael (Thelda) Vicchrilli, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lindon 5th Ward Chapel, 600 West at 100 South. Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to services. He was a member of the LDS Church living in the Lindon 5th ward holding the office of High Priest He had worked as a butcher, a barber and at Geneva Steel for many years, as a foreman. He was a veteran of World War II, where he had served in the Army. He was a member of Provo Eagles 2924. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and worked at Charlies Trout Creek at Strawberry Reservoir for several years. Survivors include his Sharpen your artistic skills and add a personal touch to your home.
