Roach, American Fork, were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 5. David Roach and Wayne Gay served as best men and Jan Cameron, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Attendants were AI and Shelly Cameron and LaRena Roach. Michelle Roach served as flower girl. The bride is a graduate of Ed wards Central High School and Brigham Young University. She is a microbiologist for the Utah Stale Department of Health Labs in Salt Lake City. Her husband is a graduate of American Fork High School, served a mission for the LDS Church for two years in Ixis Angeles, Calif., and will graduate in June 1984 from the University of Utah, where he is majoring in psychology. After a trip through Canada, the couple will reside at 2100 S. 2325 East, Salt Lake City. Melodie Green to wed James Westbury, Jr. Open house scheduled for August 13 Melodie Evans Green, daughter of Junior and Kate Evans of Lehi, and James A. West bury, Jr., of Salt Lake City, the son of James A. and the late June Thorstrom Westbury, will be honored at an open house Aug. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 9800 W. 8570 North in Lehi following the couple's wedding at the same location. The bride is a graduate of Lehi High School, Mary's College of Beauty, the barbering division of Utah Technical College and the Lambert Hall Institute of Real Estate. She currently maintains her real estate license and works as a self-employed self-employed barber in her home. The bridegroom attended Hillcrest High School and graduated in 1968. He attended the University of Utah from 1968 to 1973 and received a bachelors degree in marketing. He is currently employed at Rocky Mountain R.V. where he sells motor homes and travel trailers. The couple plan to make their home in Lehi with Melodie's children, Jonah, Jess and Katie. West Valley girl to marry Brad Buhler in LDS Temple Mr. Bruce S. Morrison and Mrs. Janice Anderson, West Valley, are pleased to announce the forthcoming for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Lori Morrison, to Brad Buhler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Buhler, Highland. The couple will exchange vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Aug. 19. A reception will honor them that date from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Highland Stake Center, 5335 W. 11200 North. Attending the bride will be Wanda Cottam, Lee Anderson, Karen Seager and Ruth Ann Morrison. Best man duties will be performed per-formed by Slade Buhler. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Granger High School. She attended Utah Technical College for one year and was previously working at a pre-school. The prospective groom is a graduate of American Fork High School. He served an LDS Mission in Thailand. The couple will make their first home in Highland. Lynette Briggs to exchange vows with Allen C. Jones Kristopher, Brett and Hawley Briggs are pleased to announce the marriage of their mother, Lynette to Allen C. Jones. The couple will exchange vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 12, 1983. An open house will honor the newlyweds the same evening from 7-9 p.m. at the home of the bride's brother, 623 N. 120 West, Lehi. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be Lori Downs with Kent Jones serving as best man. The bride is the daughter of Donna G. and the late Paul C. Draper of Lehi. She graduated from Lehi High School and LDS Seminary. She plans to attend Utah Trade Tech this fall. The groom is the son of Clifford and Joan Ellison Jones of Price. He is a graduate of Carbon High School and LDS Seminary. He served a California Arcadia Spanish Speaking Mission. He graduated from BYU with a B.S. degree in accounting. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. He is presently working for a CPA firm in Salt Lake. Larsen of Willard, Utah. Victor L. Brown of the Presiding Bishopric of the L.D.S. Church will perform the ceremony, which will be solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple on August 19. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast will be hosted by the groom's parents at Log Haven Inn in Mill Creek Canyon. A garden reception will be held that evening at the home of the bride's parents in American Fork. An open house will also be hosted for the young couple on Sept. 10 in Willard. Ann is a graduate of American Fork High School and LDS Seminary. At the high school, Ann was a class officer, chairman of the Senior Hop, and editor of the yearbook. She was also an honor student and member of the National Honor Society. She was the regional winner of the "Make It With Wool" contest. Ann served a mission for the LDS Church in San Jose, California, and has recently received her B.S. degree from BYU in pre-professional pre-professional child development and family relations. She is currently working on her Master's Degree. Keith is a graduate of Box Elder High and LDS Seminary in Brigham City, where he was active in wrestling and track and was a member of the North Wasatch Symphony Orchestra and Box Elder High Orchestra. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout. Keith will graduate in the spring from BYU in the field of computer science. He has been active in music circles there.
