English teacher Tracy Willburn told graduates that the most important thing they have learned is to make decisions according to the Spirit, warning them that professional and academic choices could bring them "joy or intense misery. Graduate Alex Smith, a distance education student from Kentucky, told graduates that going on a school trip to do volunteer work in a Mexican orphanage "gave me a greater appreciation of all that I have," and he thanked the school for teaching "the religious aspect that should go hand-in-hand with learning."
