Every week now for the last three weeks I have received a paper. 1 really enjoy every word. It really makes me feel a lot better and cheers me up when I get a paper from, my home town. I felt I should write and tell you how much we appreciate appre-ciate getting the Orem-Geneva Times. It has kept us in touch with the 'happenings" in our favorite area of Utah since we left almost three years ago. As a serviceman, I realize the value of mail from home, and that is what we consider your paper. I'm wondering if you are still able to send it to all Orem servicemen through out the world. I sure hope so. We also noticed the new name plate. We both really like it. I am now a staff writer for Stars and Stripes. I will be here until I finish my service commitment commit-ment in January and then we hope to settle somewhere in Utah county. Swimming, golf, going on the rides, and even swinging in the swings. It is to be held Thursday night. All the graduates are getting excited. Local Researcher To Lecture At Noted Institutes Dr. Clark J.Gubler of Orem has been invited to present lectures on his thiamine (vitamin Bl-)-studies at the Institute for Nutrition Nu-trition Research Meeting in Zu-rick Zu-rick Switzerland on May 4-5 and The Hoffman LaRoache Research Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland Switzer-land on May 9-10 He is a professor pro-fessor of bio-chemistry at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. Dr. Gubler also will present his findings at a special seminar sem-inar to be held at the Biochemical Biochemi-cal Institute, University of Frie-burg, Frie-burg, Gemany on May 6. He will depart for the speaking tour on April 29 and return May 14. While in Europe he will visit the Universities at Milan and Pa-via, Pa-via, Italy, to discuss his research. re-search.
