PRICES FROM 7.95 - 19.95 More detailed plans needed Continued from A-3 but was reduced to five units after the hearing. In September, after a public hearing, the Planning Commission suggested that the development again be reduced, to four units. City Council members said Anchor Street Development will have to detail construction-mitigation plans to protect residents who live below the proposed development. develop-ment. Several mentioned an accident acci-dent last summer that killed a construction con-struction worker at Park City Mountain Resort after a piece of construction machinery broke loose from another and traveled down a hill, killing the worker. "The downhill lots are going to be impacted regularly during construction," con-struction," said City Council member mem-ber Shauna Kerr, adding that she did not want the land developed at all. City Council member Roger Harlan said he was also concerned, saying the City Council needed to "go overboard" in protecting residents resi-dents below the proposed construction con-struction zone. "The risk of damage to structures struc-tures on Daly Avenue is very high," Harlan said, adding that he wanted Anchor Street Development to have financial obligations in the event of an accident. acci-dent. "There needs to be some degree of financial insurance." In an interview after the meeting, meet-ing, Council member Chuck Klingenstein said the Ridge Avenue proposal is a difficult situation situa-tion because of the geography of the lot. "This is just a tough, tough site to do anything," Klingenstein said. He added, though, "people have the right to do something on their land." Other actions taken by the City Council Thursday night included: Approving a lot-line adjustment of a lot on the 300 block of Main Street. The lot-line adjustment also included the execution of a new parking covenant at a rate of $14,000 per parking spot. : Approving an ordinance approving approv-ing the vacation of the Aspen Ridge Condominium record of survey, sur-vey, located on Crescent Road. Parking tickets in abundance in P.C. by Jay Hamburger OF THE RECORD STAFF The number of parking citations cita-tions handed out since Park City's Pay and Display-style parking meters became operational opera-tional earlier this month have been in the thousands. Two:hundred tickets tick-ets have been written to persons who have not purchased and displayed a receipt from a park ins meter.
