The larger hose attached to the drill supplied compressed air and the smaller one supplied water to suppress the rock dust. Park Con was one of Park City's leading mines from 1929 to 1939, producing $4 million in precious metals; however, it shut down in the late 1940s. ; - ' ' Melissa and John Barnhill Melissa Bird, daughter of Dann and Tina Larsen.
