LEGAL NOTICE INVITATIOtyTQBID Park City Municipal Corporation Is ' seeking bids for the performance of janitorial services on the municipal offices located in the Marsac Building, 445 Marsac Avenue, Park City, Utah. The building contains approximately ap-proximately 26,000 square feet of office and meeting space and a child day care facility. A small portion of the building is currently vacant. The city plans to expand into the vacant space and preschool area in the near future. The proposed contract will require the contractor to provide all of the necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning of the interior of the building, but will require no exterior maintenance. Fixed prices for at least one year are requested, with a preference for a longer time at a stated rate. Bidding information is available from Mike Vance, P.O. LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 82-27(1) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMEND-ING SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE OR-DINANCE NO. 82-27 REGULATING TEMPORARY TEM-PORARY CONVENTION SALES WHEREAS, a clarification of the convention con-vention sales provision of the Ordinance regulating peddlers, solicitors and other non-traditional merchants mer-chants is necessary: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Park City that: SECTION 1. CONVENTION CONVEN-TION SALES. The Finance Department may issue licenses for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks for convention sales. For purposes pur-poses of convention and meeting rooms within any licensed convention or meeting facility for the purpose of temporary sales or solicitation of goods or services, whether in conjunction with a convention or not. The licenses may be issued on the following terms: (a) License Fee. The license fee shall be fifty dollars ($50.00), plus five percent (5) of the regular Park City business license fee for a business of that type, with the square footage based on the square footage of the meeting or convention facility (or portion thereof) rented or used by the licensee for his sales location site at the convention con-vention site. (b) State Tax Number. The applicant must provide his sales tax identification iden-tification number as a part of the license application to assist in verifying the collection and reporting of sales tax. (c) Review by Police. Applications for convention conven-tion sales licenses shall be sent to the Police Department De-partment for review and consideration prior to their approval. No convention sales license shall be issued to any person or business which has entered en-tered a guilty plea or been convicted of any felony involving in-volving receiving stolen goods, burglary, sale or possession of any controlled con-trolled substance, or prostitution, or securities fraud within the preceding three (3) years. Applicants shall provide their date of birth and social security number to assist in the investigation. in-vestigation. (d) Applications. Applications Ap-plications must be filed at least ten (10) days prior to the proposed date of commencement of business to permit adequate time for the Police Department review and investigation. The police may request reasonable evidence of title to goods proposed to be offered for sale as a part of the review. SECTION 2.
