Planning Plan-ning a meal for anywhere from 150 to600isquiteachallenge. Stephanie McArthur and her crew have been working on the project for months. for months. Businesses were contacted and generously provided food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack times. A (pedal thanks is also . extended to many individuals who appeared at meal time with salads, sal-ads, sandwiches or cookies and explained they could not work at the park but they wanted to contribute. con-tribute. Young Women's groups came in on several nights to help serve the meals and clean up after. The Bible Fellowship Church arrived with 20 hot casseroles one evening. Due to a mix-up,, pizza's had arrived, and the church offered to refrigerate the casseroles. They were used to provide pro-vide another supper. Many other groups and organi-: zations furnished food for meals or helped during mealtime. One volunteer, vol-unteer, Millie Smith, 85, drove herself to the park and did not want to go home until she completed com-pleted her five hour shift. The committee would like to thank the following merchants for their generous donations. A thanks is also extended to the Eagles Club for their use of a trailer, trail-er, tables and chairs. The National Guard for providing tents to eat in. J & J Appliance for the use of . refrigerators, the Pleasant Grove Lion's and Sr. Citizens, and others . who provided the chairs. The Timpanogos First Ward Scouts for the use of their - trailer. Hamburgers were grilled on stoves provided by the Purple Turtle, Lynn Walker and Blake Penrod.
