' The bomb was destroyed with out doing any damage after a water cannon was used to blast it away. The incident began when a teacher heard a strange screeching noise in the southeast south-east hall of the school and found the bomb in an alcove just off the hall near the restrooms. Det. Jeff Wilson of the Pleasant Grove Police Dept. was at the school at the time and he was notified and he then called for the police and fire departments to come to the school. The school was evacuated immediately. The Utah County Sheriff's Bomb Squad was sent to the school where the device was x-rayed several times but the x-rays were inconclusive.
