Millett in ceremony Reception to honor Megan Victoria Iaivis, Javsen Edwin Totvers following nuptials Lloyd and Linda Ash, Pleasant Grove, and Anthony Carl and Louise Lou-ise Begay are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter, Sandra L Begay, to Brook J. Millett, ton of Leland and Eva Millett of Lindon. Hie couple will be married Saturday, Sat-urday, April 28, and a reception will be held in their honor that eveningfrom 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Aah home, 294 E. 300 South, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. All frienda and relatives are invited to attend. Maid of Honor will be Angie Calderwood with Jackie Begay, Kim Williams, Karen Williams and Sarah Ash as bridesmaids. Sam C. Begay, Jr. will be best man with Steve J. Millett and llul Millett attending. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School where she was a member of the drill team and active in dance. She has attended Utah Valley Community College and is employed in Provo. She haa participated in a Lamanite Pageant in Orem where ah placed fourth. Gibson, Clay Jorgensen Arbor Day ceremony to honor LaVada Winters Heidi Louise Gibson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. LeRoy A. Gibson of Provo, and the late Peggy Hughlett Gibson, will marry S. Clay Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Jorgensen, American Fork, Saturday, Satur-day, April 28, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception and dance willhonor the couple that same evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sky Room in the Wilkinson Center, Brigham Young University. The reception is from 6:30 to 8:30 and dancing is from 8 to 10 p.m. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Bridal attendants are sisters of the bride and groom: Jennie Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, SuAnn Jorgensen, Cosette Doxey and Emily Gibson. The bride-elect is a graduate of Timpview High School where she was active in student government. She is presently employed at Edgemont Cleaners and attends Utah Valley Community College. She plans a career in elementary education. Her fiance is presently a senior at BYU, majoring in accounting. He served in the Caracas, Venezuela Vene-zuela LDS Mission. He is employed at the Lehi Roller Mills as a miller. The couple will live in Orem as they both pursue their schooling. Pleasant Grove Garden Club will be honoring La Vada Winters, one of the past presidents of the Club during a short ceremony and presentation pres-entation of a tree on Arbor Day, April 27, at 6 p.m. at the Bat-tlecreek Bat-tlecreek Park. Clay Jorgensen Heidi Louise Gibson Golden anniversary open house to honor Robert, Fern Richins The children of Robert (Bob) and Fern Wilkin Richins invite all friends and relatives to attend an open house in honor of their 50th wedding wed-ding anniversary on Saturday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. af the American Ameri-can Fork 5th Ward, 381 S. 300 East. Bob and Fern were married in April 1940. They are members of the LDS Church. After their marriage, Bob served in the Navy as a photographer. He owned and operated the Cozy Cor ner Cafe in Pleasant Grove for 20 years. He worked for Beckett Eng for 15 years and retired in 1981. Fern helped in the, cafe and , , worked at theUtahSf&te Training School for 20 years, retiring in 1987. They are the parents of five children: chil-dren: Sharon Washington, Nancy Pectol, David, LaGrand and Craig Richins, all of American Fork. They have 18 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Robert and Fern Richins Store memories disclosed in fashion show The April meeting of the Cadmus Club was held Wednesday, April 18, at the Senior Citizen's Center This was a special occasion when Club members honored their daughters, daugh-ters, friends, or guests at a social. Hostesses were Maymetta Johnson, Chairman, with Catherine Rees, Norma Fugal, and Joyce Sumner helping. President Ora Thorne welcomed members and guests and gave a capsule history of the club; prayer was by Effie Adams, after which each club members introduced her daughters or guests. Maymetta introduced the program's pro-gram's theme which was 'Easter Bonnets," and told of her memories of the Broadbent store in Lehi and the lovely hats which were often individually decorated when sold there. Alice Davis Broadbent was then introduced and carried on the program pro-gram with the help of Eva Stewart Carson Accompanist, Evelyn Peterson Pe-terson Wolfinden and Verlee Nelson. Nel-son. She was also assisted by her gran ddau enters Rebecca Anderson, Bonnie Anderson and Heather ' Smith. They presented a fashion show of authentic old time dresses, ; hats, shoes, coats, scarves, bags, nightgowns and robes. These items of attire were all owned by Alice, who treasured them and told of the stories behind the item and its original origi-nal owner. Eva Carson gave original readings read-ings and accompanied the singing and played background music. A luncheon was served by the committee. It was a pleasant time : for everyone.
