Speakers, who eulogized the deceased as a wife, mother, neighbor and devoted church worker, were Bishop Robbins and John L. Adams. A life sketch was read by Evelyn Robblns. William E. Petersen sang two vocal solos, "Oh My Father," Fath-er," and "End of a Perfect Day." Prelude and postlude were played by Karla Haynie. Family prayer at the mortuary mortu-ary was led fay President Ert-mann Ert-mann Christensen, Dr. Guy S. Richards asked the invocation and benediction was pronounced pronoun-ced by Doyle Young. The grave in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery was dedicated by Clifford B. Wright. Pallbearers were Clyde 01-sen, 01-sen, William H. Davis, David L. Waid, Thomas H. Burke, Robert Olsen and David Adams. Ad-ams. Flowers were cared for by the Fifth Ward Relief Society. So-ciety. Tenants at Beck's apartment turned In the alarm at 10:15 a. m. When firemen arrived a few minutes later, they found an overstuffed davenport in flames A lighted cigarette was the probable cause of the fire, the firemen said. The flaming piece of furniture was doused with fire-retardant foam and carried outside. Damage was confined to the davenport and to the adjacent walls and floor coverings. Keyna Thorno Named Counselor In Sandy Bishopric, -Word has been received by the Review that Keyne Thome has been sustained first counselor coun-selor in the Sandy, Utah, Fourth Four-th Ward Bishopric. Monday's skies were cloudy most of the day but the temperature during dur-ing the afternoon here in Pleasant Grove was a spring- ' like 50 degrees.
