Seventh Ward Relief Society Has Xmas Party The Seventh Ward Relief Society So-ciety held their Christmas party last Wednesday, Dec 16. They paid special tribute to Bea Adams, Ad-ams, wife of Bishop T. Ardle Adams. Mrs. Adams has been work day lesson leader, "The Latter-day Saint Home," for the past two years. An original tribute, written by Pat Seely, and Bliss Brim-ley Brim-ley was presented and Mrs. Adams Ad-ams made a response. Donna Hayward presented the story "The Spirit of Christmas," Christ-mas," and Janet Seely and Patricia Pa-tricia Jarvts sang "The Only Thing I Want for Christinas." Carols were also sung by the group. Dora Hales, 2nd counselor, was in charge. Santa Claus was in attendance attend-ance and presented each one present with a favor at the close of the program. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by the officers offic-ers to the forty-one Relief Society So-ciety women present Legion Auxiliary Gives Quiffs t o Children's Hospital Last Thursday, women of the American Legion Auxiliary delivered de-livered to the Children's Hospital Hos-pital in Salt Lake City, five crib quilts that they had quilted at the home of Arvilla Harvey. " Those participating in the quilting were Sylvia Peterson, Mrs. Harvey, Laura Robertson, Lydia Hilton, Mary Washburn, and Hannah Matthews. Laura Robertson and Thelma Adamson delivered the quilts to the hosiptaL 4 1 1 'Watch for Deer' On Highways , Says Game Officer Art Henderson, local State Fish and Game conservation officer, of-ficer, said Tuesday that numerous numer-ous deer have moved from the mountains into the lower elevations ele-vations east of Utah Valley. Several deer have been killed by automobiles in the Manila area and one on East Battle Creek Drive, here in Pleasant Grove, he said. Mr. Henderson urges all mot orists in these areas to obey the speed limits and to drive with extreme caution. "Save the lives of the deer and perhaps per-haps also, your own," he advised. ad-vised. Neighborhood Club Holds Annual Christmas Party Members of the Neighborhood Neighbor-hood Club met at the home of Deane Paulson last Saturday afternoon to hold their annual Christinas party. The house and long dinner table were artistically decorated decorat-ed with holly, pine and other Christmas decorations. Table napkins, and favors were also seasonal. Gifts were exchanged and a : delicious dinner enjoyed by the group. The afternoon was spent in reminescing about other Christmas Christ-mas seasons.
