As in other elementary schools in Nebo School District, Dis-trict, the students at Hobble Hob-ble Creek Elementary have the opportunity to listen to patriotic music and say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. It's been a few months since they held their Veteran's Vet-eran's Day Program on November 8th (Veteran's (Veter-an's Day was Nov. 11th). They listened to Mr. Dean Makngren, a retired Postmaster Post-master from Centerfield, Utah. He is a World War II veteran and served in Mrs. - ......- Tr1 ' : ; 1 J ! Joseph to splash his amazing technicolor dreamcoat at SCERA More than 200 children and teenagers from the SCERA Youth Theatre program will sing, dance and act when they present the ever popular musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the SCERA Center for the Arts. Performances began Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. with a Saturday Sat-urday matinee on Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical mu-sical will continue daily except ex-cept Sunday through Feb. 26. Students at Hobble Creek were quiet and respectful re-spectful as they learned about Veteran's Day. Mrs. Pugh's 2nd grade and Mrs. Roberts' 1st grade wrote letters of appreciation apprecia-tion to both veterans. Just last week these classes re Roberts' class at Hobble Creek high energy. "I love the message and the fun," she says. "Through music, it explores ex-plores the issues of unity, forgiveness and love. We have spent a lot of time in class analyzing human behaviors be-haviors and have read the Genesis account to help'the kids understand the depth of this story."
