Mrs. Mason will be a speaker at a National Leadership Conference to lie held May 18-19 at Plaza Hilton Inn, Kansas City, Missouri. Presiding at the conference will be Mrs. Vona Houtz, National Senior Vice-Presdient of Roosevelt. Mrs. Houtz will be elected National President of the 610,000 -members organization in August. Mrs. Mason has the major task of permanently per-manently recording in history book, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other publicity of the official visits to each of the States and overseas to be made by the National President. The Conference will prepare State Senior Vice-Presidents (to be elected State Presidents in June) for administering ad-ministering patriotic and service programs to over 6,900 Auxiliaries throughout the nation. Participating will be Utah Senior Vice-President, DeeAnn Benson of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Benson is the daughter of National Senior Vice-President, Mrs. Houtz. Speaker for Saturday-night Saturday-night banquet will be VFW Senior Vice Commander Com-mander - in - Chief Howard Vander Clute, Montvale. New Jersey, to lx elected Commander -in - Chief in August.
