Mitchell, 94, who died Sunday, March 11, 1979 were Wednesday in the Memorial Estates Mortuary in Salt Lake City. He was the father of a Springville woman. He was born April 1, 1885 in Kamas to Abram Alonzo and Marian Young Mitchell. He married Lucy Jane Hall Sept. 1909 in Vernal. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1952. He then married Clara Rose and she died in 1975. He was a school teacher and a carpenter. Main St., Springville, who died Thursday, March 8, 1979, of causes incident to age, was Monday in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Bishop Dean Rowley Of the Second Ward. Mrs. Witney was born Aug. 9, 1886 in Springville, the daughter of George Richard and Charity Jane Shelton Hill. She married William R. Witney on April 24, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and he died April 18, 1957. She was educated in Springville schools' and attended Brigham Young University. Active in the LDS Church, she was ward and stake organist and organist in the auxiliaries. She also served as accompanist for the Springville Kiwanis Club for many years as well as for many vocalists and instrumental groups. Mrs. Witney was a member of the Alpha Beta Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Springville Federed Music Club, Springville Senior Citizens and the DUP. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Burial was in Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Street, Springville, died of heart failure Friday, March 9, 1979 at the Utah Valley Hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1904 in Benjamin, the son of Robert and Adga Eugenia Helen Linstrom Herbert. He married Zerma Ann Davis on Sept. 10, 1925 in Pro$, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Herbert was em-plyed em-plyed for 41 years with U. S. Steel, starting in 1927 at Ironton Plant and retiring from Keigley Quarry in 1968. Active in the LDS Church, he was home teacher supervisor, chairman of the genealogical committee and assistant and secretary in the high priests group. Survivors include his wife; three sons and two daughters, Roberts D. Herbert, Garden Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Ferris (Anna Pearl) Hatch, Hunter; Gerald E. Herbert and David K. Herbert, both of Payson; Mrs. Lyle (Phyllis) Lyman, McGill, Nev.; 27 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Lee F. Bernard Robertson W. Bernard Robertson W. Bernard Robertson, 75, of 212 N. 400 E., Springville died Satur- day, March 10, 1979 at the Payson Hospital following a long illness. He was born Nov. 16, 1903 in Springville, a son of Alexander and Lucy M. Smith Robertson. He married Muriel Pitts on Feb. 16, 1928 in Salt Lake City. Mr. Robertson was educated in Springville schools and had been employed all his life as an operating engineer for various construction companies in the In-termountain In-termountain Region. He was a gold card member of the Operating Engineers Local 3. Active in the LDS Church, Mr. Robertson sang in the ward choir and was a high priest at the time of his death.
