The high school students had been preparing for the students since the beginning of the new term with the help of their instructor Don Liddiard. "It was hard to tell who was having the greatest fun," according to JoAnn De Haas, pool supervisor. "There were smiles all over the pool," she said. One third grader, as he entered the pool area recognized one of the high school students, Tracy Biolos, and chose to go with him. "Immediately the two swam off, side by side, to the diving area and dove off the boards, then swam back for discussion on swimming techniques.
