Show Open letter Is governor's trip necesary? Within the past two or, three weeks I liave read about two . sentences in the news paper, and heard very little more on the radio concerning Governor Rampton and other key Governor's proposed trip in May to the Soviet Union. Why are they going? Is this trip essential? essen-tial? It seems to me every time a government official goes to a communist country it always ends up that we lose something very valuable; usually more of our countries resources, wealth and more of our personal freedoms. Something this important im-portant should deserve more news coverage than this. We now have ten regions to replace our fifty states, and i seven regions , to replace our twenty nine counties. These changes have all been made by Executive orders from our past Presidents and our Governors. Time is approaching so rapidly when Metro and Regional Government with other Socialistic Schemes will actually tie the rope around our necks , that Joseph Stalin said would happen to us and we would sell the Soviet Union the rope io do this. , 0h, how naive and gullible we Americans , can be. We are witnessing the take over from within that Lennin, Stalin, and Kruschev have openly said would happen to us. Quote, "You Americans are so gullible that we will feed you little doses of Socialism, until the time will come when you will fall like ripe fruit into our hands. You will then wake up and find out you already have communism." We are witnessing the effects of many years of deceit and lies by government officials and greedy powerful men in multinational corporations and tax free foundations. They have deceived the great majority of the people who have trusted them. Thank God, not all are like this, who seem to want to destroy this great Republic and our Constitutional form of government. Up until the last few years this country with six percent of the population and usable land of the world, produced fifty percent of all usable goods. This is not the case any more. The "effects of Socialism and so many free loaders preying on the worker who pays the taxes have caused free' enterprise and ambitious , workers to loose their incentive to produce. The truly needy and the elderly deserving help should be assisted, but it will soon be tha4 one producer will keeping one non-producer. This can not continue with out dire consequences. I hope and pray that this people-will not sleep on in idle complacency and continue to be deceived. Even at this time, one of the largest tax free, foundations in this country is planning to have a convention where recommendations recom-mendations will be made to replace our Constitutions with one which will make it possible to put us into a one World Government. It no doubt will be a close carbon copy of the Soviet Constitution. Will this take place by next year? It could be that this will be a present to us from the One Worlders on our two hundreth birthday. , I hope we let our congressmen and our Senators know we want none of this, because this Great . Nation will then be reduced down to the common level of all the other countries in the world. Let's find out what ' in our Constitution and the Declaration of Independance. If we don't know then; we had better find out so we'll know it is worth defending. We must do this, and also take a stand for truth and right before it is too late. The way the trend is going now, the time could be close where one may no dare to speak or act to defend his freedom and property. Orval L. Harmer THE SIGN OF A GOOD BUSINESS NEIGHBOR . I .
