Shown are students of Mrs. Schwab's first grade class at the Grant School drawing their beautification posters. I " Mrs. Penny Jensen, shows her first grade class one of the posters drawn and gives them ideas on what they can do on their own posters. Youth help beautification group by drawing anti-litter posters Students of the elementary schools and the Middle School are busily working on anti-litter posters to be put up in Springville next week. The students were told to draw posters which would inspire the people and the other students to help keep Springville clean and in particular to clean up their school grounds. All students are encouraged to draw a poster. All of the posters will be displayed in store windows win-dows downtown to remind the people of the upcoming Springville Clean up Day which will be April 19. The two first grade classes were photographed as they were working on their posters. They are Mrs. Penny Jensen's class and Mrs. Sheri Schawab's class. Both are at the Grant Elementary School. 1 N) ) i f. Working with younger 4-H'ers is just one part of the activities of youths in the 4-H leadership program. Boys and girls in the program assist 4-H leaders, help create new programs and develop skills and abilities that will later help them in their adult lives. . " J ' ft;.?- v |
