Losses over the past 18 months at the canyon mink farms have totaled $700. Mark L. Rigtrup has accepted a position as microfilm technician for the chemical propulsion division of Hercules Powder in Salt Lake City. Howard E. Law was recently chosen to be in charge of the inter-American Rural Youth program in Latin America. Mark A. Strang, Springville native, is the author of a book entitled, "The Diary of James Strang" which has just been published by the Michigan State Press, East Lansing, Michigan. Strong Construction Company was low bidder for resurfacing 17 miles of forest service road north of Vernal. Bid was for $273,925.00. ' CHICKEN TARRAGON yA cup corn oil 1 (22 to 3!2-pound) fryer, cut up Y2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 tablespoons corn starch Heat corn oil In laree skillet and brown on all sides. Cover and cook over low heat 20 to 30 minutes or until fork tender. Remove chicken and keep warm . while preparing sauce. Add mushrooms to skillet and cook, stirring frequently, 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with corn starch and mix until blended. Gradually stir in wine, bouillon and tarragon leaves. Add salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer about 5 minutes. Serve sauce with chicken. Makes 4 servings.
