Tiffany of Spanish Fork won't have much left for spending money if his wife wins her suit for divorce against him as asked. Saturday Mrs. Tiffany, charging charg-ing non-support, filed the suit with the clerk of the district court. She asks in addition to custody of their infant son, alimony ali-mony of $25 per month and that her husband continue payments on personal property held by them. Tiffany is a CCC enrollee with an alleged cash income of $30 monthly. TRAVELING BAG STOLEN Nephi Jensen of Weston, Idaho, reported the loss of a small traveling bag between Payson and Provo to sheriff s men Saturday morning. PHONE 686 NEW MARKETING COURSE SLATED Assisting In a great nationwide effort to further agricultural cooperation, co-operation, Brigham Young university uni-versity will introduce Cooperative Marketing under Dr. A. Rex Johnson John-son in the winter quarter, beginning begin-ning January 4. Dr. Johnson, who is head of the marketing department, was senior economist for the U. S. civil service serv-ice commission in Washington, D. C, during a three and one-half year leave of absence, 1930-34. He had charge of the examinations in the field covered by the new course. Also he attended marketing market-ing seminars at Brookings institution, insti-tution, where Dr. Leverett Lyon and other marketing authorities are conducting their researches. His master's thesis was a study of cooperative marketing. Another new class to be introduced intro-duced next quarter by Dr. Johnson John-son is "Principles of Retailing." Skating Reported Fine on Utah Lake Ice skating on Utah lake is at its best right now, Earl Peay, resident resi-dent near the lakeside said today. He reported the ice to be 4 inches thick. Mr. Peay skated out a half-mile on the lake Saturday morning. He found the ice at a safe thickness thick-ness as far as he went. No snow has fallen since the lake froze over, so the surface is smooth and slick. Scores of winter sports lovers are expected to take advantage of the skating season, what with such a desirable rink at their disposal. Banquet To Honor Coach Ott Romney Plans for the testimonial banquet ban-quet in honor of Coach Ott Romney Rom-ney of the Brigham Young university uni-versity are being perfected b'y a special committee representing the service clubs and Provo chamber of commerce. The banquet will be held Thursday Thurs-day night at the Hotel Roberts. More than 200 persons are expected expect-ed to attend. Coach Romney recently announced announc-ed his intention of leaving tho school when he was granted a six months leave of absence. Mor-tensen. two hour old infant son -f Leon and Hazel Harriet Barney Mortensen, died Wednesday morning morn-ing at f.he family home soon after birth.
