J nen Highway 44 Flaming Gorge Country 438.889.3789 r.redoanyoalode.eom 1 LODGE ON Partners in recreation with Ashley National Forest Once again Sandy Kump of Vernal used her talent and knowledge to make the 2006 Josie Doll a work of art. The Josie Doll, donated by the Uintah Arts Council, was given away in a free drawing to participants par-ticipants who registered for the Outlaw Trail Festival Josie Shoot by June 23. Using a basic pattern, Kump made the beautiful creation her own, carefully choosing fabrics and lace that would be suitable for a day-wear walking outfit for a well-dressed lady in the late 1800s. Though fabrics cannot can-not be completely correct for the era, she tries to make the style of dress and accessories as correct as possible. Kump spent many hours finding just the right fabrics, chosing a soft green satin, green and white stripe cotton and white cotton heirloom lace. Winners in the Josie Shoot are Women open Tracy Perry, Machee Caughey, Camellia Robbins; Women scope, Lori Winters, Jean Pace, Shannon Bardon; Junior Scope, Jamie Morrill, April Garcia, Amberlee Partridge; Junior Open, Jadon Woods, Micaela Willoughby, Natalie Caughey and Gun and doll winners, Jamie Bassler and Kecia Jackson.
