The bride is the daughter of Olin and Faylene Barkdull of Ammon, Idaho (formerly ' of Shelley, Idaho). She graduated gradu-ated from Shelley High School in 1998. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print and Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2002. The bride is the daughter of Joni Lee, and Kent and Shauna Bushman. She graduated from Bingham High School. She was active in the 4-H Livestock program and FFA. She served as the Chapter President and a state officer in 1999-2000. She graduated from the Utah State University Agriculture Education Program in 2005. She taught last year at Springville High School. Kim Hall received "Best of Show" for 3s - .. -' I ,w -i Western Heritage Museum hosts juried art show The Uintah Arts Council Outlaw Trail Festival of the Arts 17th Annual Juried Art Show is on display at the Western Heritage Museum until July 28. Museum hours are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. This year's theme is "Rusty Rails and Outlaw Trails." Show organizer, orga-nizer, Christine Smith, the visual arts chairperson for the Uintah Arts Council said, "These shows just seem to get better every year." The quality of art produced in the Uintah Basin is amazing said Smith. He attended Casper Junior College on a full-ride Livestock Judging Scholarship. He was on the National Championship Team of 2000. He was the High Individual at Fort Worth, Texas. Ryan continued his education at Oregon State University. He served as an ambassador to the college and managed the beef barn. He graduated in 2003. He spends his summers judging county fairs in Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada. He has been accepted accept-ed into the Pacific Pharmacy School this fall in the Pharm D. Program. The couple will make their home in Hillsboro, Ore. his painting "Canyonlands. To judge the show, Smith contacted Charles Hardy, a retired art professor from Colorado. Hardy obtained his Masters of Fine Art from the University of Arizona and even went to Japan to teach and study print making. As an artist art-ist himself, Hardy has shown his art throughout the United States and Japan. Kim Hall, who received the "Best of Show" award said of his piece "Canyonlands," "I wanted a challenge to paint and it looked like a good challenge. chal-lenge. It was an honor to get the award," he continued. Linda Stover, who won the "Best of Theme" award said, "I like to create what I see and get it on canvas.
