Michael is the son of John and Kris Hale of St. George, and George and Sue Dofelmire of Kalispell, Mont. The newlyweds will be the guests of honor at a garden gar-den reception at the same location, 185 East 1200 North, (behind the Vernal Athletic Club) from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tiffaney is a Uintah High School graduate and has been attending Utah State University. Michael is a graduate of Flathead High School in Kalispell. The couple plan to make their first home in Vernal. rr U l tt Tari Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William (Pete) Richardson, and Bryan VanTassell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd VanTassell, have chosen Aug. 24 to be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The couple will be honored at a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents at 2481 North 500 East in Vernal on Friday, Aug. 27. i The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Uintah High School and as been attending Utah State University Education Center for the past two years. The prospective-groom is a 1990 graduate of Uintah High School and served two years in the Texas, Fort Worth Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is currently a student at Brigham Young University majoring in sports medicine. The couple plan to reside in Provo while completing their education. LiUyiOn anU Oeune lU Michelle Southam and Benjamin Wilson marry in Logan LDS Temple Southam and Wilson to be married in Salt Lake Temple Mary Jane Layton and Lon Raymond Searle will be married Aug. 26 in the Logan LDS Temple. They will be guests of honor at a reception re-ception Aug. 26 in Layton and at an open house, Friday, Aug. 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 1384 West 1500 South in Vernal. Mary Jane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Layton of Layton. She is a graduate of Layton High School and is attending Utah State University in Logan. She is the past-president of Lamba Delta Sigma sorority. Lon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry R. Searle of Vernal. He is a graduate of Uintah High School and served a mission to Taishung, Taiwan. He graduated from USU with a degree in accounting during the 1993 school year. The newlyweds will live in Logan to continue their education. Michelle Southam, daughter of Junius and Barbara Southam, and Benjamin G. Wilson, son of Kris and Loraine Wilson, all of Vernal, will be married Friday, Aug. 27 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. '242q tunc. Jessica Sara Jorgensen and Ritchie L. Anderson were married July 30 at the home of the bride's grandparents, grandpar-ents, Ray and Barbara Allen. The young couple were honored at a garden reception following the ceremony. cere-mony. The bride is the daughter of Brenda Jorgensen and Mr. and Mrs. Rex C. Jorgensen of Vernal, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson of Randlett, formerly former-ly of Vernal. The bride arrived on her father's arm by horse drawn carriage dressed in a white western tea-length tea-length dress. The dress featured a keyhole neckline, juliet sleeves, both adorned with silver embroidery and silk fringe on the bodice, sleeve and peplum. It was enhanced with a white carriage hat and finished with white fringe western boots. Jessica's sister, Megan Jorgensen, served as matron-of-honor while cousins, Marisa Jorgensen and Brooke Allred, niece, Cherry Anderson and sister, Robyn Jorgensen were bride's maids. They wore short-waisted dresses with silver sil-ver embroidery and silk fringe of royal blue and wine. Her mother was also dressed in a short-waisted western gown featuring silk embroi- Michelle and Benjamin are both 1991 graduates of Uintah High School and were actively involved in extra-curricular activities. She attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University and graduated from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho this past May with a degree in natural nat-ural science. She has been employed with ZCMI and Sears department stores in Provo, and for Dr. Mix in Rexburg. Following high school graduation, Benjamin attended Ricks College and served a mission in Chichung, Taiwan for the LDS Church. He is currently employed as a carpenter in Provo and Rexburg. Following a honeymoon in the Rocky Mountain region, the newly-weds newly-weds will make their first home in Rexburg. dery and fringe. Ritchie was waiting for his bride dressed in black western dress tails, with a white wing-tip dress shirt with a bolo tie and black western Levis. His best man, John Smith, and ushers, Blake Moon and Larry Dockery, and ring bearer, Justin Jorgensen, were wearing complimenting compli-menting western attire including black western hats. His mother was dressed in a blue denim short-waisted gown accented with silver con-chos. con-chos. Assisting at the guest book was Serena Anderson and greeting guests at the door were Mark and Elaine Allen and Floyd and Rita Needles. The gifts were organized by RaeLynn, Sheri and Lisa Jorgensen and Zellene Allred. Serving and assisting in the kitchen were Peggy Moore, Lynell Anfinson and Charlotte Shope. They served a six-tiered wedding cake held by columns, with a waterfall wa-terfall and bridges, accented in royal blue and wine flowers and pearls. Standing on top of the cake were the figurines of a bride and groom dressed in western wear under two entwined hearts.
