The purpose of the event is to raise money to meet expenses for local troops. With the help of between be-tween 25-30 volunteers, Allred was able to do just that "We had a tremendous response from local people, most of whom had nothing to do with the scouts," Allred said. "Between the volunteer help and the rodeo committee members, mem-bers, the event was very organized and went over smoothly." The one aspect Allred felt could have been slightly better was the attendance at-tendance the first night, but attributed attribut-ed thundershowers as the culprit. Saturday night Allred estimated there were between 4-5 thousand spectators which he felt was an excellent ex-cellent turnout. Driscoll stock out of Myton was used which Allred felt was excellent. Most events were broken into two divisions junior (14 and under) and senior. The junior competitors rode younger stock while senior competitors rode full size animals.
