Show 1 4 VenMl EfflSM Wednesday, Moy 14, 1986 Weddings & rnnrinrmrrjOr: I N 1 ) Mr. and Mrs. Baptist ceremonies unite Margo Ence, Kevin Baker Margo Ence, daughter of George and Peggy Ence, exchanged marriage vows with Kevin Baker, son of Emil and Beverly Baker in an evening candlelight ceremony at the First Baptist Bap-tist Church, April 19, 1986. Pastor Herb Stoneman performed the ceremony. The alter was graced with candlelight and two bouquets of burgundy and white flowers. Each pew was decorated with a white satin bow and a burgundy rose and were separated by a plush alter rug. The bride was escorted down the aisle ai-sle by her father who was attired in a silver tuxedo. The bride wore a floor length white taffeta gown trimmed with chantilly lace, sequins and pearls. The gown had a row of pearl buttons down the back, followed by a cathedral train, also trimmed with rose lace and motifs. The lace covered bodice and Basque waistline and high lace collar were trimmed with sequins and pearls. The long lacy peaked sleeves were puffed at the shoulders and the three-tiered walking length veil was held by a crown of pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of burgundy and white roMs and flowers. The maid of honor, Nicole Rollins, w as in a tea length dress of patterned white, scalloped edge lace over burgundy act-tote satin, with matching burgundy cummerbund and lacy puffed puff-ed sleeve with lace flounce. The flower girl, Randa Ence, wore a dress that matched the maid of honor's. The groom wore a white tuxedo with tails and the best man, Gene Baker, was in a white tuxedo with a burgundy burgun-dy cummerbund. The ushers, Mike Baker, David Norberg and Dan Ence were in burgungy tuxedos. The ring bearer, Ben Baker, was dressed like the best man. The candlelighters, Jason Kircher and Jake Forman were in white suits and burgundy cummerbunds. The bride's mother wore a dress she had made of brocade burgundy satin accented with silver jewelry and grey accessories. The groom's mother was also dressed in burgundy brocade with grey accessories. The groom's father was in a silver tuxedo. Traditional organ music was played by Ruth Walker. Myrna Ence accompanied accom-panied Joe Ence as he sang, "Heaven" and "Wedding Prayer." The newlyweds were honored at a reception at the Raintree Plaza following follow-ing the ceremony. Guests were greeted by Marvin and Judy Allred. Becky Bridges was at the guest book. Oveta and Janette Harris helped serve wedding cake and punch. Betty Slaugh, Donna Cattoor and Korin Murray Mur-ray were at the gift table. The dance band consisted of Dan Ence, Joe Ence, Bo Glasgow and Von Glasgow. Rhodes of Vernal announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Susan Annette, to Marty Thomas, son of Billy and Carolyn Thomas of Richfield, Utah. The couple plan to be married June 6, 1986 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held to honor the couple cou-ple on June 6 in Richfield at the Richfield 5th Ward Chapel. A second reception will be held in Vernal on A vacation can be hard work.
