I RESOLUTION NO. 5-12-86-R-l Be is hereby resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Uintah Uin-tah County, Utah, as follows: Upon review of Ordinance Or-dinance No. 4-28-86 which was recently adoped by the Uintah County Commission Com-mission and ordered published in the Vernal Express, it appears that two minor amendments are appropriate to said Ordinance. It is therefore Ordained and ordered that paragraphs 2 and 3 of Ordinance No. 4-28-86, the Uintah County Road Cut Ordinance, are amended to read as follows: NLWSITLM3 r. 7pt v:u 2. CLASS II ROADS May be cut upon obtaining ob-taining proper permits from the County Building Inspector. Restoration of roads shall be as follows : The native material dug from the excavation shall be removed and disposed of under the direction of the County Building Inspector. A County-approved base course material, three fourths, inches (") maximum shall be placed plac-ed and compacted in lifts of eight inches (8") or ' less. Compaction shall be by a mechanical compactor. com-pactor. If, in the opinion of the County Building Inspector, compaction is questionable, compaction compac-tion shall be verified by the County Engineer. Compaction shall be to ninety-five percent (95) of maximum density den-sity per ASTM D 698. The cost of compaction test shall be the responsibility respon-sibility of the permittee, compaction test shall be taken at not less than three foot (3') intervals with final test at finished grade under the asphalt layer. Before any permanent resurfacing is placed, existing ex-isting asphalt shall be cut leaving a clean straight line on each side of the trench running parallel to the center line of the trench. Pavement restoration shall include priming of the cut pavement edges with Type MC-70 Bituminous material. Asphalt shall be replaced to the thickness of not less than three inches (3") and rolled to the level of adjacent pavement pave-ment surface. In cold temperatures, the road base material shall be installed in-stalled to the height of the pavement and maintained main-tained by the Permittee until asphalt can be installed.
