Show Betty Hatch Bacon Betty Hatch Bacon of Hillsborough, Calif, died at her homo Feb. 2, 1991 following a lengthy illness. She was born March 1, 1921 in Woods Cross, the daughter of Wilford and Retta Hatch. She mar- ried Robert M. Bacon. j F She graduated cum laude from Utah State University, where she was an A student and campus beauty beau-ty queen. She was very active in student government In her career, she worked in the retail fashion business as a department depart-ment manager and buyer of designer clothes at I. Magnin and Company. She belonged to Chi Omega Sorority, the Burlingame Country Club and the Cypress Paint Club. Her other activities included the Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she served as president She also was director of the Center for the Blind. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Bacon on Jan. 6, 1991. Her survivors include her son Gardner Hatch Mein; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mein; brother, Byron Hatch and sister Mary Hatch Jorgensen, Salt Lake City; and sisters, Katherine Hatch Klaveano and Sharon Hatch Lords Washington.
