Show D. Fawn Peterson B OUNTTFUL Dora Fawn Jones Peterson died Jan. 14, 1990 in Bountiful, of causes incident to age. She was born Jan. 27, 1894 in Pro-vo Pro-vo to Edward E. and Ellen Rosena Harding Jones. Married Rudolph A Peterson May 20, 1918 in San Diego, Calif. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 24, 1919. Her husband hus-band preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1974. She was an active member of the LDS Church and filled many church positions during her lifetime, including ward Relief Society president. She was a great lover of genealogy and found great pleasure in searching for descendants descen-dants and has completed many family records. She served as a volunteer vol-unteer in the Salt Lake Genealogy Library working in the will department depart-ment for many years. She and her husband served an LDS mission in England in 1963. She was a member of Lydia Schulties DUP Camp. She was a member of Belvedere Ward for a number of years and was currently a member of the Val Verda Sixth Ward. She is survived by her sons, Robert A., Sun City West, Ariz.; Richard L, Salt Lake City; 4 grandchildren, grand-children, Judith L. Peel, Great Falls, Va.; Joyce A. Jarrard, Danvill, Calif.; Bruce D. Peterson, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; R. Brock Peterson, Salt Lake City; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Jan. 20 in the Val Verda Sixth Ward. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery; funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. |
