Show Washington competes in cash cap program to the top cap collecting high school, junior high and elementary. Dr. Deon Stevens urges students to bring in Pepsi bottle caps from 1 6 -ounce and two-liter bottles throughout the March 31 deadline. Washington Elementary will be one of many schools across the state to participate in the Pepsi Cash Cap Program, a fund-raiser for Utah schools. The program, which runs from Jan. 15 through March 31, allows Washington Elementary students to raise five cents for each Pepsi bottle cap turned into their school. According to area marketing manager, Ellen Robinson, the program pro-gram is an easy and effective way to contribute to Utah s educational system. "We consider community involvement to be one of the most important aspects of our business, said Robinson. "Principals say they're happy to see a partnership between education and private business especially at this critical time for Utah schools. Washington Elementary has already raised $27 with the addition of a pre-registration bonus of 500 caps. A grand prize of 5,000 caps and a new IBM computer with Word Perfect software will be given |
