Show Taylor celebrates 80th '4 I - i- f Joseph L. Taylor recently celebrated his 80th birthday. Bom Jan. 19, 1910, in Clinton, he was the son of John and Miriam Taylor. He attended schools in Clinton Clin-ton and Ogden. He married Josephine Harris, Jan. 3, 1933. Mr. Taylor worked for the Ogden railroads for 45 years before retiring in 1975. He has been known all his married life for the pride he has taken in the flower gardens and landscaping of his various homes in Ogden, Roy, North Ogden and Bountiful. Skilled in the basic trades of carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, he has always been to his family an example of stability, self-reliance self-reliance and hard work, sometimes holding down two jobs to help his son through college and to send him on a mission to New Zealand for the church. With his wife and son he has successfully suc-cessfully invested in residential and commercial real estate and has enjoyed en-joyed traveling with them twice JOSEPH L. TAYLOR through Europe. Mr. Taylor's present address is 433 E. Canyon Estates Drive, Bountiful. Boun-tiful. He would appreciate a visit or card from his friends, relatives and neighbors. |
