Show Former Girl Scouts sought for honors on 80th birthday valued-oriented program that helps the girls of today develop skills needed to assure their future as successful suc-cessful women in the 21st century. Criteria for nomination: The nominee has been affiliated with Girl Scouting. The nominee has made an outstanding contribution to her community through her profession or volunteer work. One letter of endorsement for the nominee should be enclosed with the nomination application. Nomination forms can be picked up at the Girl Scout Council offices Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. They must be returned to the Utah Girl Scout office on or before Jan. 31. "Yesterday's Girl Scout, Today's Successful Woman' awards luncheon will be held March Mar-ch 19 at the Delta Center, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Corporations may sponsor a luncheon lun-cheon table. Call the Utah Girl Scout office, 265-8472, for more in-formation. Every community has its own women of distinction, and the Utah Girl Scout Council is looking for former Girl Scouts to be honored this year as Girl Scouts celebrates its 80th birthday. Is today's successful woman yesterday's yes-terday's Girl Scout? That is the question being asked in preparation for the 80th anniversary luncheon honoring former Girl Scouts who are now active, successful women in the community. Do you know women that fit this description? If you do, and they meet the following criteria, nominate nomi-nate them before Jan. 31, 1992.
