The Warriors capitalized on a 12-6 first quarter lead and managed to hold Viewmont off for the win. Weber led 25-19 at halftime and 38-37 after three periods of play. Nikki Checketts and Nicole Bradley led Viewmont with 17 and 13 points, respectively. Bonneville visits the Lady Vikes on Friday. Bountiful and Woods Cross captured important region wins Thursday, but a day later their 4A counterparts from Davis and Viewmont were not as fortunate. The Lady Braves led 20-8 after one period of play and 30-12 at halftime. West took the air out of the ball in the third quarter and outscored Bountiful 6-4, but it wasn't nearly enough. The Lady Braves responded with a 16-point outburst in the final eight minutes to ice the game. Bountiful returns to action Tuesday Tues-day at home against Judge. |
