Show In Your Opinion You told her you went to BYU and your family had just moved to the Centerville area. You didn't even exchange names. You took her to Slim Olsen's and waited while she made contact with family to come get her. She is home safe now, thanks to you. At this time of year when thoughts turn to giving gifts to others, you have given one of the greatest gifts of all. You gave unselfishly of yourself for the safety of another. I will always be eternally eternal-ly grateful for the love you have shown this night to another. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you and be with you always. Sue Card Fruit Heights Congratulations from mall walker Editor: Hat's off to the staff of the various stores of the Five Points Mall! In the morning as 1 do my daily dai-ly exercise, I am greeted by their warm, smiling faces. I appreciate that. I also enjoy their helpful service when shopping in their stores. Whenever I have any questions, they are readily available to help me with my questions. I know that many complain about the mall's existence, but I am grateful for the services offered and their competitive prices. I salute you! ! LaRue Criddle Thanks mystery good Samaritan Editor: This is a thank you letter to a special young woman. It is the early morning hours of Dec. 18th and I can't sleep until I write this letter. Shortly after midnight this morning morn-ing my daughter was on her way home from work when her truck broke down as she was entering I-215. She decided she would have to walk to a phone and headed for Bountiful. She had walked quite a ways and was scared and getting tired when a special young lady stopped for her. Being scared and not wanting to accept a ride from a stranger she declined, but you wouldn't leave her on the freeway as two police cars had just passed you by. My daughter tells how you calmed her and stayed there for 15 minutes talking to her before she would go with you. |
