Show Well-qualified representatives from the Davis High HOSA organization recently participated in the HOSA state competition con- -ducted at Weber State College. , Award winners include: Marianne Ford, who was named a vocational excellence award finalist; : Dave Copeland took fifth place in prepared speaking; Chantel Anderson, Ander-son, third in job seeking skills and medical spelling; Lorelei Church, second in extemporaneous health display, while Genny Higley took fourth. Special recognition , was given to DeAnn Sherman, who was elected HOSA's new state president for the 1989-90 year. Congratulations Congratu-lations to those successful students! . Highland April 28, then Viewmont will be at Davis, Tuesday, April 28 and 29. Also, auditions for next year's choir and theatre . department classes are to be held May 1-8. Good" luck goes out to the orchestra, or-chestra, as they will be involved in the region orchestra festival this evening. The orchestra's final con-1 cert is coming up on May 3, and will be in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square at 7:30 p.m. |
