Show Local schedule baseball camp Former Viewmont High baseball stars Kim and Dave Nelson are among an impressive list of instructors instruc-tors for the third annual Sports Image Im-age baseball camp, slated June 13-17 13-17 at Hillcrest High School. Purpose of the camp is to provide pro-vide quality instruction for those boys wishing to improve their baseball skills. Every aspect of the game will be covered by college and high school coaches, former professional players and professional profes-sional baseball scouts. Instructors in addition to the Nelsons include Don Gust, former Cincinnati Reds player; Steve Gardner, Snow College; Bill Groves, Southern Utah State; John Hoover, formerly of the Boston Red Sox; Blake Jenson, Utah Valley Val-ley Community College; Gordon Jolley, Dixie College; Bob Keyes, former Cincinnati Red; Bob Noel, BYU; Gary Pullins, head coach at BYU; Rick Sofield, University of Utah; Steve Weisor, College of Eastern Utah; and former minor leaguers Mickey Mahler, Cliff Pas-torniky Pas-torniky and Eric Varoz. All boys from seven years old through high school may attend. Team registration discounts are also available. At the end of camp, a professional scout will evaluate each player, then give that player an evaluation sheet of his strengths and weaknesses. For more information, contact Bob Keyes at 942-2265.
