Show BOB BRUMFIELD J A taxing problem. f so soldiers face death and civilians civil-ians face taxes. Now, if we can have an all-volunteer Army, with soldiers volunteering to face death, why can't we also have volunteer taxpayers? If you can do away with the military draft, you can do away with the tax draft, it seems to me. There's also the matter of discrimination. dis-crimination. Because I am physically physi-cally unable to get pregnant, I cannot breed children for fun and profit the way many unwed women do. This is unfair. As an unmarried male, I should be able to draw some sort of pregnancy disability or something. The least they could do would be give me a few food stamps. I know that if you earn some money, the government takes a big chunk of it and gives it to someone else. And I know there are lots of different dif-ferent governments federal, state and local each of them taking a big, juicy bite and giving it to someone else. Then, when the feeding frenzy finally is over, you take your paycheck to the bank and the teller asks, "Do you want it all in nickels, or would you like a few pennies?"
