Last year's Executive Council voted to do away with block seating in what Johnson termed a "political" or vote-getting move. Singled out for criticism Rich, chairman of programs board, and Dave Lofgren, chief organizer of block seating, were singled out for criticism by Johnson. He said that they are "both organization oriented and are trying to gain advantages for organizations over the individual indi-vidual student." Erdman said that Rich was "willing to admit there was a procedural violation in block seating." He said that Rich had admitted it in a conference the two had earlier. Rich was unavailable un-available for comment as of press time. Damage to credibility Johnson said that he felt the most important consideration of block seating was the damage it could do to the credibility of ASUU Assembly. He said that if block seating were allowed to go on "a serious precedent may be set." As it would have been employed, block seating allowed for about 25 to 30 percent of the student seats to organizations. The rest would have been left for independent students. As it stands now, all student tickets will be picked up by the students at the student gate, east side of the stadium, any time after 12 noon the day of the game. University I.D. or tuition payment card must be shown. If the student section fills, students will be seated in the general gen-eral admission section.
