Show Long lines uphold in-person reputation The excitement and anticipation of well-rested University students was quelched with the day long in-person in-person registration Sept. 25. The long-standing reputation of fall quarter registration, including two-hour two-hour waiting lines into Milton Ben-nion Ben-nion Hall and hundreds of closed classes in every department, was again upheld. Record-breaking lines stretched into the Huddle parking lot at 8 a.m. Dick Christiansen, office of the Registrar, commented, "It was a fantastic day as far as the number of students attending. There have never been so many students at any registration day." About 26.000 change, and drop cards were processed proc-essed following the close of registration. regis-tration. Registrar and acocunting windows win-dows will be open until 8 p.m. through Sept. 30 for processing changes and paying fees. Late fees of $10 will be assessed beginning Sept. 30. Last day to add classes without charge is Oct. 3. |
