Show Rights speech Frank Wilkinson, executive di, ector of the National Comrrjte Against Repressive Lelatio will lecture on "Freedom ' Repression," Wednesday noon in the East Union Ballroom. He is sponsored by CONCERN. Mr. Wilkinson is presently on a speaking tour, "Current Threats to Constitutional Rights." Prior to his commitment to the civil liberties liber-ties movement, he was a slum clearance and public housing administrator. In 1942 he was He manager of the first integrated housing project in the Watts district dis-trict of Los Angeles. The National Committee Against Repressive Legislation, formerly "National Committee to Abolish the House Un-American Activities Committee" seeks to protect constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech and association associa-tion by concentrating on the defense of persons subpoenaed before various House and Senate committees. |
