Show Stegger's Corner His "bug" remained in Union parking. Too late. . . Too late. . . The sun hid behind a cover of clouds that day as a gentle wind made its way across the campus. A campus cop was hovering in the Union parking lot. . . "Hey. What are you doing to my car?" Joe Smedlcy, typical average college sophomore, came running out of Orson Spencer Hall. "We're towing your car away kid. Three tickets and your car gets towed away," the police officer offi-cer nonchalantly answered. "But you can't do that. I've never seen a ticket on my car," Joe retorted as the wind blew on. "Tough luck kid; that's the breaks. Now, would you make room for the tow truck?" The truck had arrived and the driver started to hook its line to Joe's bug. A little crowd had formed around the car. . . |
